I am so busy updating all the other stuff on my website & newsletter, I never have time to actually blog...I really do want to get more into that...so I will do my best to get on here a little more often!

clawing my way to the top

Ok, I wasn't clawing...we climbed about 35 floors today in training.  My legs were wobbly...but they felt good.  We're gonna train again on Tuesday.  Wish me luck!

 

Will I hit 150!?

I'm so close to losing 150 pounds...but I have really kicked up my exercise in training for the Master The Met event (stair climb) and I'm scared that my muscles are going to retain some water until they get used to it.  But I'll just deal with it!

KSDK story rescheduled for 2/13

My Cover Story on KSDK News Channel 5 in St. Louis has been rescheduled to Wednesday, Feb 13th.   I'm so excited to see it!

Did you see the piece on Rachael Ray?  I think it turned out pretty good!  I'm so excited!  Thanks to all the people at the studio!  You were all sooooo nice!!  Thanks for helping me make a dream come true to meet my inspiration!

Pamela!  You look FANTASTIC!  You are doing such a great job!  I am so happy for you and your family...next time, we'll go to NY ourselves and paint the town!!! :-)

Wow!  I can't believe it's here!  Tomorrow is my big day!  I'll be on the national TV Show Rachael Ray & the top local late news show on KSDK News Channel 5 in St. Louis @ 10pm!

I have been so nervous, I just want to eat!  But I've been good!  I had my pineapple for my snack at 3 and I brushed my teeth so I don't want to eat anything to mess that up.   (Brushing your teeth is such a great trick to keep you from eating!)

Things are crazy!

Hey there!  I know I'm slackin on posting to my blog...sorry guys.

So much has happened since my last post.  I couldn't talk about most of it until now.

My biggest news is that I am going to be on the Rachael Ray Show on February 7th!  Be sure to check your local listings for your time & channel!  In St. Louis, it will be on KTVI Fox2 at 10am.

If you're in St. Louis, I'll also be interviewed LIVE Thursday, Feb 7th at about 8:20am on KTVI Fox2. 

I'm also going to be interviewed on KSDK Channel 5 & KPLR Channel 11 - but the dates are still TBA.  I will post when I have the dates!

It's my 1 year anniversary!

Today is my one year anniversary of joining weight watchers and my new lifestyle!  It's been such a great ride!  In the past 52 weeks, I have not only lost 138.2 pounds...been on TV twice and the radio once, I have gained so many new friends and supporters!  Thank you everyone for helping me get so far so fast!  I can't wait for the rest of this journey!

Spring Has Sprung!
Mood:  on fire

Ok, not literally...I did major "spring cleaning" today.  I have a local TV station coming to my house on Tuesday morning for a follow-up interview.  I want to say THANK YOU to Lisa for 6 hours of kick butt cleaning!  The trashman ain't gonna like me in the morning! ... I hope they take it all.

I'll post again when I find out for sure when the interview will air.  It's supposed to be sometime in February sweeps.

 

A New Year has arrived!

If you would have told me, this time last year, that I would be ringing in 2008 weighing 136 pound less than I did when I started 2007, I would have have told you you're nuts!

This has been such a wonderful adventure for me!  So many things are happening right now!  I have a follow-up interview with a local TV station as well as my Lasik Surgery on January 29th...just to name a couple. 

I started this journey with 222 pounds to lose, and now I only have 89 pounds to go!  That's unbelieveable!

 I'm also really enjoying meeting (virtually and otherwise) so many awesome people that both inspire me and that I have inspired as well.  This is all about helping each other be the best and healthiest "me" we can be!

 I'm down 136 pounds now...just last week I lost 6.4!  WOW!

I also have a new little girl in my life!  Her name is Harley and she is 10 weeks old.  She's our new little kitten.  She takes more attention than my son did when he was that age! :)
